Looks amazing. I've missed the original Planetside but this looks like Battlefield 3 + a shitton of space and persistence.
Love the lighting. Will definitely sink many hours into this game.

Even though the gameplay isn't as unique as I had hoped, I still will be playing this for hours with my friends. It makes me think though about gameplay with these types of games though, anything too new would be logistically hard to do, something like tribes gameplay in the planetside concept, which would be pretty badass

I dreamed of a game with combat like BF3 at a scale like this. Personally, I'd prefer a more modern theme over the futuristic theme, but this looks great anyways. I'm not seeing any of the typical MMO characteristics, like action bars, talent trees, or economies. I hope they implement some kind of trade or currency system. Action gameplay is great, but sometimes I want to work toward something greater than just getting kills.
Can't wait to see how god damn amazing this is with hundreds of people fighting at once, the video Totalbiscuit showed was baron compared to the epicness that I can imagine occurs during regular play.
