"People like you have ruined dyed hair." This tbh. Also thick-rimmed glasses. This is honestly my biggest complaint about "tumblr culture" or whatever.
Judging on the amount of stupid I just watched, I'm glad that I don't know Wil Wheaton that much.
Honestly the only reason I knew who Felicia Day was is because of not the Guild, but Legend of Neil. Anyone else watch that?
I only know who Felicia Day is because of Fallout New Vegas :v: Veronica for best companion
She also voiced some Dragonage iirc and acted in Supernatural.
I think she showed up as part of that vague "nerd aristocracy" of minor celebrities what like the video games during that period in the 2000's when "geek" was hip, between when it was "haha nerd" and when it became "gross white misogynist."
She was also in the final Season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Also Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog. But I think this is getting off topic.
They were both in Eureka. Come to think of it, I only remembered he existed in that show just now. He wasn't a very likable character, as usual.

I don't know a lot of Will Wheaton, only seen him in Stand By Me, The Guild and Tabletop.. But he's a real rotten guy, jesus christ I had no idea. Kinda ruined Tabletop for me.
I have never really understood the following that Wheaton has garnered. I agree 100% that he has never had a memorable acting role, and his contributions to nerd culture or whatever are close to nonexistent, or worse, are detrimental. And then this SJW bullshit as a cherry on top. Why do people like him?
Looks like other response videos are being hit. I wonder if this one is next.

And it wasn't even like I particularly enjoyed Wheaton, it's just that it was his show that he ran, if he had just been a regular guest on it, definitely wouldn't like him.

A lot of "icons" in nerd culture aren't particularly noteworthy for anything other than aggressive self-promotion.

He tried to push himself out there too much when he should have accepted that he was a niche a la all nerd culture. Plenty of nerds (wow this is a condescending word isnt it) follow for example low subscriber, unpopular people on YouTube that do things like play video games they like, etc. Wheaton did good with TableTop and whatnot but he should have just stuck to letting his popularity come with what people like instead of overextending himself -- this is kinda why I like Felicia Day, because she created Geek and Sundry.
