Yeah, I didn't know how to say I have a feature, so I just said I am with a feature. Is that how it's done?
More or less.
You could also say ...في عندي or لون شعري احمر but that might not be in your vocabulary and what you said works just as well in my book. A native speaker might say otherwise, but for someone who just picked up the language I wouldn't stress too much about it.

Also, when I write I kern my letters. Is that proper, or is it bad?

That looks like something that's more stylistic than anything. If that's how you like your arabic, then go for it. It doesn't affect the legibility of your writing, so it's not a huge issue.

As you can see I'm getting a lot faster at it as muscle memory is finally cementing. I'm starting to say fuck curves, opting for a quicker, more angular scripting. Some guy showed me a few shorthand things. I still view my writing as a form of art, though. I like the way the highs of the alif and lam (not pictured) contrast with the lows if the ta, ya, and noun.

Hello, sorry to necro. Crossposting with Hebrew chat because I'm completely unsure about something.
This is going to sound very weird, but I don't know how to pronounce my online moniker "Qaus".
After doing a bit of research I've discovered it's originally Edomite which is only known/spoken/written by a small group of people, but simply googling it provides results in Arabic and/or similar languages.
Would anyone here happen to know how to pronounce it correctly or at least in Arabic?
