Codemonkey yeah I guess that's a point but I still prefer swords and shi like guns are sick but yeah I prefer swords an bows retro style
The ending was pretty dumb. Like why would you [sp]nuke[/sp] a small town like that holy shit
[sp] The outbreak got out of hand, it was the easiest way to deal with it. Most likely a 10-15kt nuclear device. [/sp]
But the virus wasn't even spread person-to-person, right? [sp]It was the water supply because of that biological agent tank?[/sp]

Yeah it was that, I think the story or idea of the movie was cool but I didn't like it
If it was that reason, why'd the have to take such drastic measures. Couldn't they just eliminate the source of the issue and then kill off the infected? :v:

It was also passed on through [sp]the infecteds blood/bites[/sp]. But yea the [sp]water supply[/sp] was the main cause of the outbreak.
Also if you want a post-apocalyptic film, watch The Carriers.
I've seen Carriers too.
Doomsday is a pretty awesome movie or lord of the rings
You most likely have, but watch The Road too. that film is awesome.

I read the book too. I love Post Apocalyptic.
28 days?
Watch doomsday it's pre cool
28 days?
28 days was p legit
it was there that I learned to love the L85; the mansion night assault was fucking cool
28 weeks later was a disappointment
Dawn of the dead :downs:
28 weeks later was painful to watch
The dawn of the dead remake was dumb. absolutely unrelated to the original
28 weeks later was a disappointment
I enjoyed it as kind of a more actiony movie, but yeah it was a let down as being a follower to 28 Days. Hopefully 28 Months is better.
I'm surprised I didn't come back to hundreds of posts and a massive shitstorm after two days.
Check out Children of Men. It's the best movie.
$15 Best Buy warranty is credit to team. Went in, told them what was wrong with my broken headphones, no other questions asks or tests and I a new one and a second 2 year warranty for free (headphones dropped in price). Fuck. Yes.
When I was at the doctor earlier today they told me that my muscular dystrophy is one of the most mild cases she ever saw and if it was any more mild I probably would have never known I had it.
I was also going to go to Imperial Airsoft and maybe buy an airsoft gun while I was up in Calgary but it was on the other side of the city from where the hospital was.

But holy shit where I had to go in the hospital there were so many little kids in wheelchairs. It was depressing as fuck.
I watched the movie "Right at Your Door" last night. Highly recommend.
Anyone else have Post Apocalyptic recommendations? None of the typical stuff like "WATER WORLD AND ROAD WARRIOR" we all know those.
The Omega Man, Stalker, Children of Men. Three (somewhat) obscure classic apocalypse movies. None of them with zombies, how about that.

oh, yeah that's like opposite side of Calgary to me lol
if you did go to imperial airsoft though, you would be right by his home
My mom was even going to go down to that general area to go the mall there last night but she didn't want to drive through downtown Calgary at night because she was scared there would be sketchy people and that she would get lost.
I think when I build the balance in my account back up I may buy an AR pattern rifle.
I just have this bad feeling, and I know that's silly but I think I should really have a serious firearm in the house.
Handgun would me ideal because it would be a lot easier to manipulate it whilst moving through my house but I need to be 21 and the process in NY state to get licensed will cost me more than the pistol and will take over a year assuming they don't find a reason to not give me one.
Since the primary concept is home defense, I considered a shotgun but ultimately I decided against it because the objective is to protect my family. If I have to shoot someone I don't want buckshot hitting people in the next room or my neighbors houses and possibly my neighbors.
Since I'm used to M4 style rifles from playing airsoft I'll already be somewhat used to using one and to some extent their operation. I can customize it for what I want it to be, so I'd put an RIS and a tac light on it and mount an EO Tech (I'll obviously have to buy a real one)
I fucking hate how things have to be "NY Compliant" though. I can't even have mags over ten rounds in a .22
But I'm a law abiding citizen so I have to do what I've got to do.
Marlin .357mag Lever action rifle. My answer to home defense and extreme fun with target shooting.
When i was younger in downtown, some homeless guy in a wheelchair asked my mom for our truck,
