As a flight sim buff, the maneuvers I saw in the trailers had me saying WAT over and over again. Most glaring is the P-51 doing a 180 degree turn on a dime to hit a passing Bf-109, they're airplanes flying 200+mph, not freakin' Tokyo Drift racers.
The guy learn that move by seeing it ONCE
seriously, the 109 does it originally to the American, so the America goes "That was cool" next scene is him saying (literally 10 minutes after that move is done) going "I know how to do it!" then a few scenes later he does it.

Basically the film is only good if you watch it for mindless action, even then its 30% of the movie. The rest is racism, a terrible romance plot, friendship, alcoholism and some more racism.

This film is a strange one.
Its more a drama than an action movie, BUT when there is action its fucking immense.
The dog fights are ridiculous and the CGI for them is insane.
Saw this with Ender when it came out. Thoroughly enjoyed the dogfights/CGI/action but didn't really go FUCK YEA on any other parts. Nice to see WWII fighters on the silver screen again though.
You shoulda brought pooch and milk and had a party while you're at it.

I just got Gran Turismo 5 and there's 15 updates to download.
The first one is 650MB.
My download speed is 100kb/s at best.
Woohoo.
Talking to a girl about a picture I have of her eating a burrito. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
Talking to a girl about how she either needs to send me nudes or don't instead of playing stupid-ass games with me. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
EDIT: To clarify, I mean as in instead of send pics of her with her pants half down or in her underwear to just fucking do it instead of being annoying about it.
I figured Taiwan would be the main dude for this question, but I'll leave it up to anyone.
I found some Matchbox jets in my closet. One is a "Grumman F-14 Tomcat" dated 1989, the second one is a "SB 4 Mirage F1" dated 1973, and the last one is a "SB 15 Phantom F4E" dated 1975. Are these in anyway a collector's item? I just found them mixed in with all my army guys, they're in really nice condition.
The girl eating the burrito is also the high priestess of a cult I formed.

Post pictures! The "SB" stands for "Sky Busters," which was the line of toys those little die-cast planes belonged to. They still make "Sky Busters" today, but the ones in stores now are all done with flamboyant paint schemes/colors/names and are all like, brightly colored and designed only loosely based on real-world aircraft. Once in a while you'd be able to find a model of a real plane, but with a garish unrealistic paint scheme (like this B-1 Lancer I received as a gift). The number after "SB" represents the number of the model in the line. So your Mirage F1 (SB 4) was the fourth model of the line, and your Phantom was the fifteenth. So that would make them pretty unique.
Their worth is actually partly dependent on their paint schemes, which was really the main reason I'm asking you to post pictures. Matchbox reused some of their same molds in their later aircraft. I knew I had a couple lying around on my desk and after some rummaging I found an A-10, Tornado, and the B-1. The Tornado (SB 23) I have is dated 1977, but I know that my mom bought it for me at Target when I was three (1999). So even though your Phantom and F1 might be dated 1977, they might not have as much as a "collector's worth" as you might think.
But imho, "collector's worth" isn't really important to me. It's the fact that these toys provided you hours of fun as a kid that makes them priceless. But yeah, I can see where you're coming from. It doesn't hurt to wonder

I had a Harrier from that series but it disappeared. I played with it all the time when I was young and it really showed with all the wear on it. I remember one time I was playing with it and another plane and dropped it in a mug of hot chocolate because the other plane shot it down :v:
Anyone else going to Warped Tour this year in Atlanta/Central FL?
pics
Shit, those are in almost pristine condition! That Tomcat *might* be an older one (by a year or two), but the Phantom and Mirage are probably the same age as my Tornado- the 1999 edition. The authentic colors are the giveaway: the original '70s Sky Busters were molded in brightly colored plastic and had orange-clear canopies. Hope this helps!

Yeah, I thought the same thing, considering that I got them at a garage sale when I was like 7 years old and played with them all the time, then they sat in a box in my closet for like 3 or 4 years.
I should see if I still have mine, probably a few buried in the garage somewhere.
