Gonna go see an army recruiter tomorrow morning, whooooo!
don't believe him too much
what if they dont sell them on craigslist though? what if they just want to keep the guns as trophies or something?
Gonna go see an army recruiter tomorrow morning, whooooo!
talk to him as if he was selling you a car. don't agree with everything he says, and ask for a wishlist of where you would like to be stationed

I talked to one of those at my school once; I asked if I would be allowed to be issued marpat and he said that it was standard issue.

they wont, they will probably shoot someone with them and sell them to some poor soul for a couple hundred dollars. your guns might show up in a year or so, but don't get your hopes up.
Just watched Iron Man and Iron man 2, now watching the Avengers, taking my final exam in the morning, boarding a plane, watching the original Ocean's Eleven while on the flight, partying in madrid, flying to some coast village, boarding a ship and then setting sail for Italy.

Good on you, what the other guys said is sound advice.
Wish I could serve in some fashion, but I have an automatic disqualification for all branches of service.

I was set on joining the military for years but can't for medical reasons. I'm not totally sure if it's an automatic disqualification, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to pass basic.

im just being real with you dont get mad, im sorry for your loss. but thats how criminals work, truth hurts

That looks like a dildo.
It's sheath is tape dipped in resin or something.
This is the actual knife

Actually I think its tape wrapped around the old leather sheath. This knife itself is over 50 years old

Vandy, why did you rate me both dumb and winner on the same subject?

Don't doubt yourself, basic is not all that bad, and if you're good enough to get accepted into basic, the army can find 1000 reasons to let you retry or pass you if you want to continue. Considering some of the people I know who've made it through basic, I have no doubt in anyone passing it as long as they're serious.
Basic isn't that bad.
Infantry training will whoop your ass.

What is it exactly? Like notrabies said they can find reasons to let you in. My problem (history of retinal detachment) is more a problem in that if I got smacked hard in the face I could quickly go blind in one eye, which is a bit of a problem, to say the least. If you're not an automatic DQ you could make it.
Doesn't he have like muscular dystrophy or a muscular deficiency or something like that though? I think that's probably an automatic DQ
holy shit the Hulk's scenes in Avengers were so fucking funny.
Continuing the theme of depressing war movies, I'm watching 'Stalingrad', a German film made in 1993. I think it really matches well with All Quiet on the Western Front, showing the sheer futility of the war from the German perspective. Really goddamn depressing movie.
Oh I'll have to watch that one.
remember this rabies

Great trip to LA, got to shoot an AK and went to ASGI though didn't really like the sales reps that were there at the moment.
Doesn't he have like muscular dystrophy or a muscular deficiency or something like that though? I think that's probably an automatic DQ
Yes. I have a very mild form of this
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Becker%27s_muscular_dystrophy
It might be mild enough to not disqualify me automatically, but somewhere down the line it might cause problems. And I'm already going to college next year anyway so I'm not going to bother with the military anymore.
Don't believe them when they say "waivers". Waiver means "yeah your fucked".
When and if they accept you get ready to get raped by the MEPs doc.
And show some balls in there, they will try to bullshit you to enlist.
Also, You will LIE, ALOT.
Well I met with the recruiters and things went well. Yeah they tried to get me to enlist, but were pretty supportive of me going warrant officer to pilot. I took some practice test thing and got a 91% on it, and they were pretty excited about that and said I should have my pick of jobs if they're available.
All I need to do right now is do a lot of PT and then get recommendations and the like for being a warrant officer, and there are a lot of people I know who are good for those.
If I joined the military, I would want to drive Bradleys and follow in my uncle's footsteps.
