I’M A THOUSAND MILES AWAY, BUT GIRL I’D LIKE TO GET INSIDE YA,
YES I DO, NO GIRL CAN FUCK AS WELL AS YOU,
I SWEAR IT’S TRUE.
HEY THERE DELILAH, DON’T YOU WORRY ABOUT PROTECTION
I’M EVEN HARDER WHEN YOU’RE LONELY,
TAKE A LOOK AT MY ERECTION,
CLOSE YOUR EYES,
I WANNA GET BETWEEN YOUR THIGHS, ‘TIL I’M INSIDE.
OH, I WISH YOU WOULD DO ME,
OH, I WISH YOU WOULD DO ME.
OH, I WISH YOU WOULD DO ME,
OH, I WISH YOU WOULD DO ME.
WISH YOU WOULD SCREW ME.
Part 2 and 3 of GK are also really good.
Ray's whole talk about how obviously no one will take your unlocked fully loaded supply truck reminded me of Takistan Life
My grandfather gave me a Winchester Model 12 shotgun today.
I need to get myself some 20 gauge shells now. I'm keeping it next to my bed.

First one was pretty good, even if it was an easy ass read. Second and third dragged it out way too long I think.
Went to the gun show and got me an AK sling SO GOOD.

I only ever read the first one.
Its times like this that I'm glad I read real books and novels, not kid's stuff.
You guys should try it too, they're much more enjoyable.
I never read. Nor do I have the time.

Terry Pratchett.
garfield
Michael Crichton, Jules Verne, Lovecraft, and H.G. Wells as of late. Also, lots of Warhammer 40K novels, but I won't count those in as serious books, just for fun.
Only of those haven't read is lovecraft. Any recommendations for bewks?

Well if you have a Barnes & Nobles near you, they've got these going on:

$20 for a beautiful book and normally with really great stories, best deal ever if you'd like to read one particular author.
Specific books: Old Man and the Sea by Hemingway; Sphere, Jurassic Park, State of Fear, Prey, and The Lost World by Crichton; The Hobbit by Tolkien (gonna be reading The Lord of the Rings when I have some actual time); and Black Hawk Down by Bowdon.
I've got loads of books, best thing to do is go to a section in a bookstore that you want to read from, and grab a random book off the shelf.
Read the background stuff and the first chapter or so, and see if you're interested.
I end up buying at least one book every time I do that.

Metro 2033 is a decent book that could have been great if Glukhovsky had an editor with the stones to tell him to tighten it up. The pacing is absolutely awful in Metro, it drags on and on and on.
I just finished reading Zone One, it's an interesting novel set a few years after a zombie plague outbreak, and told in a non-linear fashion about a guy trying to survive. It's not an action novel, it's really more about how society changes and what life becomes after the apocalypse. Also slow-paced, but pretty good.
Also, cpt.armadillo, what sort of book are you looking for? There are a lot of different genres we could recommend. Like, if you're interested in war biographies, Firebirds is a fantastic account of a helicopter pilot's experiences in Vietnam. Very good read.
Quite frankly, anything that isn't soppy romance/porno I'll read.
