Yea, most of the regular youtube members are fucking immature as hell. They'll attack you for hating their favorite people like smosh, and fred. I personally think their videos are shit for the most part and they don't really deserve all that publicity, but the community enthusiastically thinks otherwise.
Youtube is probably one of the best arguments against democracy in existence.

That is a good point, the problem though is that there is so much more stuff about Halo 3 than something like Shakespeare though.

The majority of stupid comments I reply to are on my own videos, and often I just press the remove comment button, which is basically the "I win the argument, bitch" button.

I think what it is is that youtube's white background attracts idiots like light bulbs attract moths. Luckily, moths often get killed by light bulbs, so in the long run this could be good for us.
