Generals' enemy vehicle AI was so rage-inducing. If they were to spot any infantry, they would go 'I VILL SKVASH DEM LIKE BUG' and run them all over. And what's worse is that, AFAIK, there is no way for a human player to run over enemy infantry with anywhere near the efficiency of the AI players. It just isn't fair. I just really hope EA doesn't pull off an EA and ruin it. This feels like a double edged sword. Sure it could be awesome but it could suck. Case and point: Any Command and Conquer game after Red Alert 2 with the exception of Generals and arguably Renegade.
After playing RTS games like Combat Mission and Theater of War, I can't really go back into these traditional type of RTS games. I'm more of a fan of the realistic engage across a map type. Even though I loved Generals

Frostbite 2 seems great (at least graphically) for an RTS but it makes me wonder how well pathfinding will work with full destruction - if they pull it off it could mean a new kind of strategy where we can prevent paths by blowing a building into the main paths, ect. At the same time, EA has been screwing up just about everything they touch recently so I'm not going to hold my breath with this one. I guess there will probably be no mod support.
Are people seriously complaining that the story is ridiculous in RA3 Peter Stormare and Tim Curry go back in time to kill Einstein, creating a future in which George Takei is attempting to take over the world

Which added a lot more units for each faction and sub-general. GLA air units for GLA Commander, boats for US (all), snipers for China Infantry general and a lot more. Good times.
