The lead singer got beat up by Six Feet Under roadies when he insulted Chris Barnes (the vocalist, ex-Cannibal Corpse) and then he wrote a song about Chris because he just went and got on the bus. It's called "Chris Barnes is a pussy" and then Chris beat him up at a show and they've hated each other ever since
They also send their records to reviewers that they know will hate them so they get bad reviews, and they try to be as absolutely insulting as they possibly can about everything and everyone.

motorhead are the band that took the blues out of the sound, along with Judas Priest. They are definitely metal, and without them I really doubt we'd have the sound we have today. Milestone metal band right there.

Dimebag Darell (<Best guitarist ever) got shot not long after Pantera disbanded. He and another member of Pantera formed another band, Damageplan. During a gig, someone went in and shot him dead along with one bystander. Then a security guard shot that guy with a shotgun, killing him
