Go kill your self Cerpin Taxt!
Lucky. I wanted to order it but I didn't have a player :v:
Didn't they come out with a cd version that was shaped like a piece of Goliath?
Didn't they come out with a cd version that was shaped like a piece of Goliath?
There's a version that comes on a USB drive shaped like an Ouija board piece, if that's what you meant.
The music would be quite literally a million times better if they had a better lead vocalist.
Well actually, the singer can sing pretty good. It's just not our type of singing. It's not that he has a terrible voice. Not a fan.
I have one. I'm kind of disappointed with the monthly content so far.
I didn't order one because I thought it was kind of a waste, I could have gotten a 4GB for 20 bucks.
Viscera Eyes live... holy fuck, it sends shivers down my spine. When the lead guitar comes in after the riff, it just sounds so fucking amazing. Edit: OH MY GOD THE DRUM SOLO It makes my loins excited.
Also I will be recieving the Bedlam in Goliath vinyl in the mail in a couple weeks. It will contain a new song. Mmmm should be tasty.
Nice reaping avatar :). I think only me and him will get why I call it reaping. I got Goliath a while ago and started listening to it just a few days ago. It's actually pretty good.
if i remember correctly, theese guys are stoner rock..
if i remember correctly, theese guys are stoner rock..
Couldn't be further from the truth. Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fc-7FXzbeA0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7mGBfJLZ6E Compare.
Nice reaping avatar :). I think only me and him will get why I call it reaping
Indeed. I don't much care for their music anymore, but the artwork for that album will never stop kicking ass.
I fucking love Jeff Jordan's artwork. His 'deluge' painting has been my wallpaper for ages.
Jeff Jordan does some crazy ass paintings. We can only assume strong hallucinogens are involved...But I think Storm Thurgeson's work was better suited for Volta.
if i remember correctly, theese guys are stoner rock..
You probably say that because they're really fun to listen to while high. Everyone assumes that psychedelic automatically means stoner.

Although the Frances the Mute artwork is really awesome too. Not a fan of De-Loused's.

I don't like De-Loused. Frances, yeah.
The singer can sound kinda whiny, but they are still pretty good.
You probably say that because they're really fun to listen to while high.
They are.
The singer can sound kinda whiny, but they are still pretty good.
I wouldn't really say it's whiny - a whiny voice would be someone like Billy Corgan. But yeah, he has a crazy unique voice.
They are.
Of course! I wasn't going to deny the fact. I was just saying.
I personally liked At The Drive-In better, but I still love The Mars Volta.
Yeah them guys own HARD!
At The Drive-In was basically the lead singer and the guitarist and a few other members. I think the major change to the Mars Volta was the genre in music. I might be mistaken, though.
I love De-Loused in the Comatorium. Great two opening songs, two great ending songs.
I love De-Loused in the Comatorium. Great two opening songs, two great ending songs.
Son et Lumiere is sexy  I wish there was a long version of it.
They also have insanely long songs. Tetragrammaton = 16 minutes!
Cassandra Gemini = about 30. Oh Cassandra, how I love you.
I really enjoyed Bedlam In Goliath
