Anyone going to Edinburgh Uni? Specifically edinburgh and not napier
Me, doing Mechanical Engineering and staying in Fraser Court!
Ive been seeing A level stuff on the news all day, makes me sad because all i heard was "Record numbers of students are about to get a qualification in something useless and have a ton of debt as a result"
Happy with my AS results, means that I dont have to retake the year again. Woo

What, there's a lot of money in theology.

Computational physics at Darroch court. Fraser's the one next to pollock halls isn't it?
So relieved about my AS results.
I mean, in the long term they're not that important, but I scraped the grade in Maths to continue it to A2, which I need for university.

Yea it's just a 20 second walk away from the main gate.
Yay my university has already given me my accommodation and it's en-suite!
Yay my university has already given me my accommodation and it's en-suite!
I was looking at en suite accommodation in Edinburgh but it can be £600-1000 more expensive, I'm just sharing with 3 other people so I'm fine with it.
I got to choose 3 accommodations to be possibly put in at liverpool earlier this year. They were all self catered and had an en suite.
I've been given a catered one with no en suite. And the waiting list only starts happening around mid october, yay.
I went to Dundee yesterday to have a look at some accommodation with my parents. It looked perfect for me but apparently, you need to be 18 to sign a lease and my parents can't do it for me. So I can't go to halls because they're too expensive and I can't get a flat/room anywhere because I'm too young. This is bullshit, how do other 17 year olds find accommodation for college?

You, Instant Mix and I seem to be equally far away from each other in a triangle.
Do you know what classes you have to do for Chemical in the first year?
I have
Engineering 1
Mathematics for Science and Engineering 1a
Mathematics for Science and Engineering 1b
Mechanical Engineering 1
Would Mechanical Engineering 1 be Chemical for you?

Well I have the advantage of hating the taste of alcohol so I have nothing to spend my money on that I can think off.

yeah im in the arse end of nowhere pretty much. a nice arse end though.
and yeah except i do chemistry instead of having an elective spot as well. that might change though as i might be switching to civil engineering
I'm thinking of maybe switching to a Mechanical and Electrical Degree, right now I'm doing Mechanical With Renewable Energy and think it may be too specialised, I have until the end of the year to decide at least. For my optional course this year I'm thinking of doing History.

Hopefully I'll met him on Freshers. I've been on the Edinburgh Class of 2017 facebook page for 2 weeks and there are hardly any Engineers on it, not seen any of the guys I met on the Apirl open day on it either.
feel like shitting a little because i get my GCSE results in about 3 days

Those are some really nice halls, applied for them as a second choice. Right next to the meadows. Us 3 really should meet up at some point during freshers :/
I'm good with a Facepunch meet up sometime that week, what you studying Instant Mix?
Heading out to Lincoln to do Media Production, anyone else going there?

Oh sorry man I got confused there haha
So anyone one here going to Warwick?
Anyone going to Sheffield Hallam Uni?
I got accepted into a Games Design Course, staying in Brammal Court. A friend of mine is on the same course (and in the same exact flat/house) as me
