Isn't the only danger about it the fact that it targets a wider age range to a point where younger ones who don't have fully developed immune systems can get it more seriously than normal flu, causing the deaths?

For me it was a minor flu.
Hate to break it to you but H1N1 isn't uncommon anymore. Lots of people have it now, several people in my school. So I don't see why a thread is necessary.
I'm sure it has been said before but the Swine Flu ain't that different from the usual Flu. Still, pigs are assholes.

Boo hoo. I had it for a week with a 104.4 temp, and I threw up 5+ times per day. I'm fine.

I mean, with a temp that high, it's bad enough, and for a whole [I]week?[/I] Not to mention that if you were continually throwing up you probably weren't able to eat/drink much.

Did you get tested for swine flu? And, if so, was it painful? I probably have to get tested for it today and the test [I]sounds[/I] painful, even if a bunch of people say it isn't.
atm, I have the worst cold I've had in my life, and I've convinced myself I have swine flu.
My boyfriend's sister had swine flu and even when I went over to his house for a few hours, I managed to avoid it.
I think even if I did have it, I would be able to handle the respiratory aspects of it. I've had bad allergies every day of my entire life and I've had the regular flu before.
It's the potential for the stomach upset that scares me. I have an extremely sensitive stomach and a phobia of vomiting. :<

I wasn't tested for swine flu because my fever subsided and the results for strep throat came back negative. So they just sent me on my merry way.
Isn't diarrhea one of the symptoms?
Also i had a pretty bad flu or whatever a week ago. And honestly. I don't think swine flu will be worse then that.
That week sucked nuts.
I have some sort of Flu and according to Dr. Facepunch it's the swineflu.
Although my immune system is one son of a bitch you don't mess with.

Well, regardless, I visited the doctor today and they basically said that even if I [I]did[/I] have swine flu, it wouldn't be treated any differently than a normal flu or bad cold. So they just said keep my fever low and drink lots of fluids. :rolleyes:
There is a chance our school will be shut down because of swine flu and maybe other illnesses.
There were about 150 of somewhere around 800-900 people absent today in the high school, and 200 of about 600 absent in the middle school.
Also, I'm starting to feel sick, I'm getting a sore throat, fever and a cough.
