Scott Pilgrim is actually the only graphic novel(s) I've read, I finished all of them in two days.

Just read Arkham Asylum twas interesting. Really unexpected, the whole thing was more of a visual poem than any traditional comic book, wasn't great, but it certainly was good.

BLAME! started in 1998 and ended in 2003, I wouldn't be surprised if FEAR stole a fair bit from it. Haven't really played that much of FEAR though, so I can't judge.

Homestuck is a huge (currently over 5000 pages) ongoing webcomic about a boy and his friend's attempt to save (no, not the earth, that was the first thing to go) Skaia from destruction. The story gets VERY confusing, but has one main over-arching plot. People have said they have read it several times and still find new things they missed before. It is continually updated and in fact, the average page count per day is 5.5
Like Problem Sleuth (another great read, it's been completed), it has a lot of video game logic in it. Another cool thing, is that every page is animated. I was semi happy to hear that they were making a movie out of this, since comic to movie adaptations are often rather crappy.
When the movie was released... I felt so, so sad.
I was reading Zombie Loan for a little while. First couple chapters were kinda hard to read through but I thought it really picked up later on but then I heard it got postponed because the company was working on another manga Shugo Chara :/

Both are excellent reads, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. If I remember correctly, they're both 60 issues long.
