The Youth of today and their relationship with Policemen - General

You think this is new? Do you [i]really[/i] think this is archetypal of the youth today? My god. This has been going on since the 60s.

Two types of people in this thread: - those who stereotype - everyone else

I've only met a couple of nice police officers who are kind and at least understand. Every other one I have met has been a dick.

Most police men are alright, but there are a few that abuse their power.

I have to admit, I lol'd at the vietnam vets antics in the OP's video, "WUT NOW FUCKAAAAA" But The cop seemed like he could've done more to control the situation rather then just yelling and calling for backup

Police men were nice to me when I was little they gave me baseball cards.

In my town it's more the adults who are untrusting of the police and it rubs off on the kids. So don't get all on your high horse saying that all kids have no respect for coppers.

Nothing against them, fair play to them and this is coming from someone who could be arrested for several things (no crimes of violence or anything that really affects anyone). The youths view on cops today is sickening, they are doing their job and the vast majority of them are doing it well.

Around here the police does nothing, I a bunch of people fighting, knew that there was a police van nearby. Walked over there, tapped the window and said that there where a bunch of kids fighting maybe 100 meters away. He said "Okay, I'll check" but he didn't. Also, they never check if the lamps of the cyclists work except when mine doesn't.

I've ran into the police a few times, nothing serious, but they've all been pretty nice.

I feel bad for that poor cop now, after i saw that vid. He was just doing his job. :saddowns:
