The cop was also shot in the arms, legs, and almost every other open extremity, which kinda stopped him from being able to shoot right.

I'm from Wiltshire, UK The cops here are fine in my opinion, this week I cycled through a red light, and cycled in the dark with no front light and they didn't pull me over. I parked in double yellow lines, and one drove over and said, "you know you parked in double yellows right?" and i was like "yeh..?" but they saw i was using the bank/ATM anyway.. I've had more hassle from those people who check parked cars, than the police tbh..

I don't hate cops but I sure as hell don't like them either everyone should just chill out and let people think whatever they want

I got certain different views on the whole thing. I have to admit, I used to smoke hash and used to be one of those "fuk da police" guys so I guess I got what I deserved and for the good, but, some stuff about the whole thing is off. For example: My house got robbed. They took a bunch of stuff (some that was very dear to me, like my gameboy which at the time I had bought with my own money and all its games) and so we called the cops. This fucking obese guy comes in along with another and they start collecting evidence. They say they got alot of it and then get out. Months later, the results were what we thought. Case arquived. Nothing was done. We even found the glass that was removed (yes, they removed the glass, they didn't break it, for a gameboy and a chainsaw) and took it there. They said they couldn't do shit about it. I just thought "same old news..." At that time, I was one of those rebel teens that smokes pot and goes all "fuck the police" like I said before. There was this day where I was really pissed and sad about some stuff, and so I went to smoke with a couple of friends behind the cafe. 2 cops appeared from out of nowhere. We tried to hide it, but didn't really put effort in it, and they ended up finding it. They asked if it was ours, and we said it was. After that, they started acting like dumbasses. The kind of dumbasses that you just hear them say "i iz teh law, i haz a gun, i taek u downtown if u dont obey". They are the law, but that was just stupid, and let me tell you why. I thought they were going to beat the shit out of my friend right there when they asked him who got the stuff. He said the gypsys did, and the cop went mad almost (if he really didn't) beating his ass and threatning him to take him to the precint. He ended up lying, saying it was some guy called "Nitro", and somehow, they fucking believed it. I even questioned myself "is there really a Nitro?..." They asked us for names and adresses, and so we gave them. I could have lied since I didn't have my ID with me at the time, but that wouldn't be a grand idea now would it? Then came the cherry in the top. They asked us why did we smoke that stuff, and said "why don't you go get drunk with a bottle of vodka instead or go get some whores?" What kind of fucking example is that? And the best part was that the ammount of stuff we had was actually legal. We were a bit dumb, but they were just being idiots with a couple of kids. Another good example is when 2 guys started fighting in front of school. 2 cops were happily strolling along the sidewalk while the other 2 fought each other. Did they do anything? Nope. By the time they got near them, they had been already stopped by the school's door lady. In my street, there used to be a shitload of cars from this house next to me parked on the middle of the road. Soo many times that the cops passed by them and didn't write them a single ticket. Everytime I see them, their searching for badly parked cars or just strolling around with their hands behind their asses and watching the view. That + half of the force must be made of obese guys who don't seem able to run for 5 seconds straight. Not to mention those who might be corrupt. This is the kind of shit that pisses me off about cops. BUT, truth be told, not all of them are like this ofc. I bet if it weren't for them, we would be deep in shit with the local gangsta faggots that "rule" this town. I still have to thank them for that. Someone very dear to me reminded me of this. That not all came from the same bucket. Some put their lives in danger, and others ARE said danger. We must not judge them all the same way. Edit: I kinda have to thank them for that time we got caught. That made me think twice and turn my life around.

SWAT Team trained to shoot at the sight of a weapon identifies a male that is pretty obviously heading towards them with what appears to be a weapon, after they've shouted "Police!" numerous times, and, as their training warrants, fires to disable the subject. How not to get shot 101 - don't move towards police in a menacing stance with what could be easily seen as a weapon in a spur-of-the-moment sighting, especially AFTER hearing "Police!" shouted numerous times.

Those cops got off without any charges. The man died, I don't care if their protocol is to shoot anyone on sight seen with a silhouette of a weapon, that man harmed no one and could EASILY have been taken into custody without being [I]killed [/I]for god's sake. Instead, they probably found his personal couple grams of pot, called it a successful drug bust and now his wife and family are left without their father and husband and brother. The point is he was killed over something that grows out of the ground. His life was more valuable than that and arguing otherwise would be foolish.
