Man, I'm looking at myself through this webcam thing, and I just noticed that my entire head wiggles when I chew! What if I'm talking to somebody and they start making fun of wiggly head-muscles? They'll say, "Wow, your temples throb with every contraction of your jaw. That's fucking weird, man. My temples don't throb when I chew!" Fuck, man! Forget this! I can't deal with this futuristic video phone bullshit right now. I am not in an emotionally happy place! People will call me horrible names, like "Throbby Head-Muscle boy," or "Big Headphones Lad." I went on a chatroom and somebody called me a nerd! He said "stop nerding up the place"
I prefer IM, I'd rather find out that I'm talking to an FBI agent the hard way. Handcuffs are sexy.
It's better because the voice quality on most phones sucks compared to Skype and a decent headset.
I prefer in person because I can read body language, me and my friends CAF and Fussy talk almost all night lol.
Don't talk to her on skype, talk to her in person.
Oops, jerking off on Chatroulette then Skype decides to video chat with a girl.
I talk to my friend, who happens to be a girl, a few hours a day at least on skype. Gets hard to keep the conversation going, but few minutes of silence here and there aren't bad. Try doing something other than talking so you're more at ease.
Oh yeah. :smug: Gets hard to keep the conversation going, huh?
lol half the time I feel like just cuz I feel lost and dont know what to think.... It really gets under my skin
I really really don't see how it can be difficult to talk to a girl over Skype. - I certainly never found it awkward talking to guys. Yeah sure, it can be embarrassing the first bit of time if you're talking in a different language but in the end you'll come out of a conversation feeling more confident. Just do it and you'll get more and more confident doing it.
Females? Oh god, now I'm scared.
Skype is a good time. Incredibly useful for talking to my friends. Spent hours on skype with my girlfriend before she was my girlfriend. It also has proven to be incredibly useful for talking to my dad, who works a few thousand kilometres away, in Africa.
What is the computer doing in the kitchen?
use lots and lots of emoticons
I use Skype to talk to my friends, send her a funny video on youtube and be all like "HAWHAHWHAWHAHW"
When I talk to my girlfriend on skype, we just talk about what pops in our head. Just be yourself, and you'll get used to it in no time. Just don't expect tits unless you ask :colbert:
If in doubt, start argument about religion.
I hope that you don't speak like you type
For some reason, I stutter like crazy in real life, but on Skype I talk like a goddamn prodigy.
If in doubt, start argument about religion.
what would that do?
to tell you the truth I have never talked to a female on skype
If you do decide to talk to her on Skype don't start the call, shakily say 'h-hh-hhheyyyy' and then hang up in a panic. Learned that the hardest was possible.
We should arrange some Skype conversations for guys to learn the art of speaking with females.
We should arrange some Skype conversations for guys to learn the art of speaking with females.
Im abit more comfortable talking now but I just cant read ppl on skype. Thats why I feel like abed. Dont know if Im making myself look like a idiot or just plain oblivious
Once you don't have body language it's understandable that it gets hard to read people. It takes some time to learn to read more in a person's voice but once you get the hang of it it's a little less difficult. Also I believe people will push on with their verbal reactions because they can't physically show how you feel about something.
Talk about bananas. [editline]12th December 2010[/editline] Tell her they are yellow. [editline]12th December 2010[/editline] I eated a banana once.
to tell you the truth I have never talked to a female on skype
I haven't talked to anyone on Skype even though it came installed on my computer and all my friends use it.
