Really? Comparing UV filters to ND filter? Plus, where have I advocated for UV filters?

ND/32 would only cut out 5 stops of light, not nearly enough for daytime long exposures not captured in shade. The B+W example I used, which is a 10 stop, is $110. 50 pounds ($80) isn't really that much less. I don't use that filter, I just listed as a good example. What I use is $20 variable ND filter I bought off Ebay.

I brought up uv filters because they are overpriced from B+W, you're paying for the branding when you buy their filters.

Really, don't bother with the watermarks unless you're releasing sample shots for a client or something.

They're easy enough to remove in Photoshop (if anyone has any motivation to do it) and even pretty subtle ones like yours are slightly distracting.

I'm new though, so what do I know.

I think that way too, but if you have the skills to remove a watermark in a busy part of an image, you certainly have the skills to take your own shot, rather than steal somebody else's.
