But you need to move the camera around to take multiple pictures of your surroundings, and be standing in the same spot/pose.

The trick is to be on the one place pictures don't overlap and have one picture take all of your body
That's why in bopies selfie brenizers he is usually quite small in the frame
So like this essentially? Being in the blue square, where no other pictures intersect?
hdr stuff
I don't mean to be rude or harsh but I really really don't agree with this and I don't think it looks good. Maybe try a less over done HDR.
I don't mean to be rude or harsh but I really really don't agree with this and I don't think it looks good. Maybe try a less over done HDR.
The top two are acceptable, the others are just overdone which ruins the effect of HDR.
The top two are acceptable, the others are just overdone which ruins the effect of HDR.
I'd actually say they're all overdone in their own way. The first one has too much HDR in the sky, the second one looks unrealistic, and the others have horrific HDR artifacts. I agree with what's been said before - HDR done properly is subtle and certainly not the main feature of the photo.
Only reason I ever use HDR is when my skies are overexposed.
I don't think I'll ever use HDR. Not because I don't really like the look but because I don't see any time that I'd use it.
It's awesome when you need more dynamic range. My camera does 0.3 stops +- merging together, that's almost a stop extra dynamic range
It has been months since I last posted any real content here sooo

Yargh this old camera sure likes to spill red lines in that one area! Not completely complaining though
I just got back from a work conference. They took us to a tropical island. It was fucking beautiful. Over the 3 days I didn't really have time to take my camera anywhere because it was full on. But I got these shots as I was leaving.

Crappy timelapse, but cool
it's a nice position man, but needs more frames :)
Yeah, I did it mostly for a test.
Hey guys, just got my Canon Rebel T1 and thought I'd give a "quick-snap".

The detail is extraordinary.
Wish I had unique pets to take pictures of latin_geek, all I've got is a German shepard and two cats, and noone wants to see that.
I also have a german shepard and two cats, how weird is that
And I've always thought of creative photography as "making mundane things interesting". When I go to a photo exhibit and see pictures of modern art and "interventions" and stuff I just feel like I'm in the poor man's version of a modern art exhibit.
For example I still like this one picture of one of my cats because of how nice the blurred background looks and the way he's staring at the camera with sort of an expression or something

Ye oldé town.
Whoever cut that brick to fit that upper curve must have been really bored, every time I see something like that it's just filled with cement.
First picture's very nice, love the simplicity.
Haven't posted here in a while.

So I finally got to see a B-52 stratofortress in real life, that's one thing off my bucket list. Was pretty good overall, some great jet manouvers and shit, might post more later, will see
[editline]20th May 2012[/editline]
also, the reason most HDR images look shit is because people use HDR Filters to the extent where you're practically taking a photo, and destroying every single sense of the word natural within it, when really, in order to get an accurate HDR you should be shooting multiple exposures of the same shot with a tripod or something (one under, one correctly and one over exposed) then combine them in something like photoshop in a way that gives you correct exposure across the entire photo, without heavy noise in the areas that'd usually be too dark, or destroyed looking tones in skylines etc etc.
high clarity is NOT the same as a high dynamic range, but a lot of fpeople don't seem to get that because HDR has become a filter thing, rather than a technique
Once again a set of brilliant photos Inzalonus, keep them coming.
Inzalous you are excelling. 1, 5 and 6 are the best.
