The lens isn't very heavy, the mount is fine :). Also, with geek squad protection at Best Buy, if it breaks I get another one anyway.

Hey watch it, i run the Digital Imaging department in my store haha. I make sure that my guys don't spew loads of bullshit to customers like at most bby's. The lens is a Spiratone Plura-coat sharpshooter 400mm f/6.3. It's a T-Mount and came with a canon fd adapter, but I modified it to fit in my M42 adapter on my 60D.

It wasn't too hard, the threads on the lens were just a tad wide so i shaved them down a little bit and it screwed right in. It doesn't go all the way to the end of the threads but it works well enough. The pictures still come out as sharp as I want them to be and I don't use the lens too often so it works out.

They are all super sharp, and I love the slight desaturation, but I feel that some of them could have used a slightly darker exposure. I really like #5 and #8

1st - Nice DoF/exposure but seems like a quick snap.
2nd - Really nice but a little under exposed.
3rd - Pretty interesting but that's due to the sign, decent composition though.

I don't like the composition or the colours.

The highlights are this weird light orange and it doesn't go so well with all the green and blue greys.

Also the vignette is a bit much.
