Hope u guys have something to say about it, one of my first photos.
The lens distortion makes the building look like it's out of alice in wonderland or something, I like it! I liek the composition, although it;s a shame the guy on the left is blinking.
I think you would benefit greatly from a polarising filter, it blocks out certain wave lengths of light, so it makes sky's bluer and gives clouds more definition, they can also get rid of reflections on shiny objects, even water reflections! I love polarisers.
It would help towards white-out in the sky, but you could combat that by lowering either the ISO, boosting the F-stop number, or decreasing the ISO.
HEre's a link which will explain it a bit better: http://www.digital-photography-school.com/learning-exposure-in-digital-photography

I agree with latin, first and 2nd to last are the best shots. a lot of them look similar, try going a bit lower on the angle next time because skating looks really cool from that perspective. if not that angle, just try out some different things, because while none of them are bad, they are all pretty similar.

Thats pretty much the definition of "straight photography." A regular unmanipulative photograph that is somehow so abstract that its unrecognizable.
But anyway, some random shots of the gf:

I envy you. Any girlfriend, nay, any female I could ever meet would never accept having a picture taken with a pikachu hat on.
