I use [URL]http://regex.info/exif.cgi[/URL] and you need to use the 'original' image size option when getting the URL as for the other sizes the data is lost when the image is re-saved by Flickr from what I've experienced. Whether the EXIF data is lost depends on what software you use but Flickr seems to lose a lot of it when it generates the various display sizes for you.

Never posted in here before because I dont have a camera, though I do read every post in here.

Anyway, I was deleting old pictures off my laptop and I found this from a few years ago.

Light painting has the potential to be cool, but you really have to have a coherent thought in mind. It's not enough to just go "lolol, if I take a long exposure shot and play with a flashlight, I can make cool imaginary lines."

That picture is close. The more I look at the actual light painting it's cool, it actually sort of weaves in and out in interesting ways and that's sort of cool, but then you've just got your dirty apartment in the background and it destroys any aesthetic beauty from the light painting.

I like it, it's an interesting concept and the lighting is well done, it just feels, off. I think it's that it appears that the frame on the left was an edited in picture of you head on with your head turned, whereas the one the right (though it seems is also edited in) it actually seems like it was taken into a mirror from that angle, it was just a different shot that was edited in. It looks like the frame on the right is actually semi-transparent because you've got the curtain in the background, and while this effect is interesting, it's visually unsettling, and I don't think in the way that you intended the photo to be. Plus the dramatic difference in lighting from you in the center to the frame on the left vs. the well lit frame on the right, the light in the upper left hand corner almost balances it out but not quite. I would've rather seen another frame similar in size to the one on the left, and you facing into that one as well with some sort of different expression or lighting or something. The whole thing just feels kind of lopsided in composition.

But as I said, well done. I'm just being hyper-critical.

I totally disgree. Sharpness is over-rated.I think that photo is great, not in spite of the slight blur, but with the assistance of. It becomes an element in the image that when combined with all the others create a mood which works really well for those images.

(Whether or not it was intentional is also beside the point)
