Thank you, you kind of proved my point.
The thing is, when I shot these images I knew I didn't have enough light to get a sharp image but I took them anyway. It doesn't always matter to get the sharpest images because like Hazey said, the slight blur sometimes adds to the picture.
Ofcourse it can really detract from a picture but I think it doesn't in my pictures.
I can't really make my point because I'm tired as fuck and can't find the right words, but today everyone is out to get the sharpest images ever while they sometimes forget about their subject.
I think it's really interesting that you said you would like the shots if they were sharp, but because they are not, you don't really like them.
Don't see this as an attack on you though. I was just trying to prove a point here.

Ah ok. It really wasn't anything personal though!
I just think people should at photography from differrent angles. I know from myself that I would always try to get the sharpest image but I kind of grew away from that, atleast when I do black and white photography. Not saying I won't, in most cases, try to get a sharp image. But sometimes it really doesn't matter.

Thank you so much for the feedback man! The problem I found with posting it here is you guys will just see it on face value but myself, my teacher and the examiner see/will see it with all my annotations and a 26 page a3 book of preliminary coursework to couple with it. These annotations and coursework tie it all together as to why I did certain parts of the image, I wish I could explain it all to you guys but without access to my coursework my annotations mean nothing and without my coursework means nothing and I can't get my coursework up on here. So basically it's a cultivation of the past 6 months worth of work.
Also, all the shots taken were done in one shoot, 6 shots used all from the same perspective :)

My best friend surprised me over memorial day weekend by inviting two of our "internet" friends to stay at his place over the weekend, so lots of portraits with the nerf gun, they found it hilarious to shoot me while I was busy with the exposure. :v: And I posted some "generic" shots near the top too, in case portraits aren't my thing and there is a dozen more in my photo stream if you're feeling critique-y [All shots except for the building were taking at f/ 1.8]

I really do think that nothing is more beautiful than an Australian forest when the light is good.
Paper barks, ghost gums, stringybarks. The colours and forms of Eucalypts are beautiful.
Have you guys ever heard of the rainbow eucalyptus? Never seen one before... Not sure where they're native to, but god, what a sight they must be.

This would look better with at least a little bit of colour in it. Nice composition though, would of been better if all those numbers were visible though.
