I think the top one could be edited a little cooler, I'm not a fan of the yellow reddy cast. Maybe get into curves and take down the reds and boost the blues a little. Bottoms ones looking good.

I actually think a cooler balance would look weird, it wouldn't be natural to that light.

I used to ball a bit with a PM7 myself, was never any good haha.
That said, shots seem a lil tight, not a whole lot of 'scene'. Colors could use some pop too.

Yeah possibly, I meant more of the yellowy cast rather than white balance in hindsight.

Most of my photography lately has been as you said, empty. And while I would rather choose to shoot models, I'm kind of growing a liking to the solitude and surreality in my pictures. There's just suck a unsettling emotion withing empty shots.

This one would be good for a self portrait.
^Photo is overall underexposed. It looks like a dull/bland image cause it feels monotonous. Pictures have distinguishing features.
In terms of light, midtones, highlights and shadows. These 3 characteristics distinguish a picture. In this they're all like at the same values so its just like one tone throughout. It needs to have some contrast between the three to make a picture that stands out, is interesting and aesthetically appealing.
You do have something going on with the tree positioned in the middle for composition and 'interestingness' of the picture. So it's a starting point :)
