It was dark, that's a 55 second exposure.

Australia's not good at the whole winter = wet and rainy thing either. It's just cold as tits at night but when the suns out (most of the days) it still manages to burn people
I dunno, I think I'd prefer winter that wasn't just really wet and miserable, since that's also what spring, summer and autumn are like.
Also, I know some people who, strangely enough, managed to get a sunburn when the sun came out for like 3 hours in the middle of all the rain. :v:

Should have probably finished scanning before posting, so I could just do one post, but I think this is all of them. The battery for the camera's meter died after these so everything afterwards got horribly overexposed :v:

In retrospect maybe I should have questioned things when the camera suggested that f/2 at 1/30 sounds like a perfectly good plan outside in bright daylight.

still been working on my processing. took a new portrait and bumped up the colors a lot, warmed it up a little also. i dropped the contrast off of the photo so that shouldn't be a huge issue. so now, how am i doing with my processing?[/QUOTE]

It was during a Bird Show at the Zoo. It's not mine although I'd love to own one.
I got a developing tank yesterday! Its from the 30s! Its so fucking old! God damn, the box looks like it has silver leaf on it! It looks like the second thing ever made of plastic! Its OLD!

love the colors, but i think it might be more effective by cropping the sides a bit, to draw the attention into the road more. the strong central composition is great, but i think the standard 3:2 ratio would work better for the photo

went to visit my grandma today, nice little critters running around through there. those are actually wild chickens, and a wild rooster. no one has any idea where they came from, but they love the free food. lacked it on the PP today, didn't feel like going through the process.
