I'm really tired of these "model" shoots.
Taking my camera outside. Brb.

Steel wool stuffed into a whisk works well. Attach it to a string/cable so you can spin it around, and use a 9v battery to light it.
Set your camera on a tripod and give yourself 30 seconds to spin the bastard around wildly.

That picture is so damn sharp, I cut myself. Bravo.
I feel like that should be straightened
nothing overly special, just a few snaps whilst in the school recording studio working on music tech

I just bought 2m worth of chain, it's a but much, maybe go for 1.5 metres.
I didn't use a whisk or any sort of cage I just wrapped it around tightly, but I think I would be best off using a cage. Also, no need to use a 9V battery, you can just use a plain old lighter, that's what I did.

Oh yeah, it's got to be fine grade, coarse wool won't light.

i'm starting to get a more consistent post-processing base, it looks pretty cool in different contexts, depending how I adjust it. These images aren't particularly good, but they show off a few different kind of looks I can achieve

Cheap as shit.
I don't know if they have them in the UK but any hardware store like the homedepot will have it.
Go to wilko or B&Q, its quite cheap.
Got a bit bored so just picked up a camera I haven't used in a year and went outside

I payed £4.30 for a 4.5" Diam. roll. Picked it up in a DIY store, should be pretty easy to get a hold of. :)

You'll get it plentifully from B&Q or Homebase. It's not particularly cheap, will be around £4-6 for a large weave.

went to point pleasant today in search of mothman, took pictures of birds instead.
Can someone tell me how to get HDR working in CS5? I keep getting this:
"Error 22: Window does not have a constructor.
Line: 388
-> var w = new Window(res);"
what kind of boat do you have (brand and size)
17' Boston Whaler, the other shot is on the bottom deck of a ferry to Mackinaw Island.
Ah that sounds super nice. That photo of marley you took makes it look super classy. My family has a boat but there aren't many big lakes in Arizona, biggest place we've taken it was havistsu but everyone had house boats so the water was like an ocean
did you add some vignetting? I'd remove it, or tone it down just a bit more.
And I'd probably take the time to edit the bird's positions to be more centered
forgot this one:

and i might tone down the vignetting, but i really like the position of the birds.
