hey ho guys, im home! the photos i took on holiday are up on my Flickr now. here's two shots from them: I trawled through the past ~15 pages last night to catch up and wow you guys churned out some awesome work, well done!
I personally don't find the second one very interesting. Not that I think it's bad but it just doesn't spark my interest all that much. The first one however I find amazing. Good job on including those puddles on the front. Makes it more interesting than the average sunset picture. You could however straighten the horizon
Like this? thank you very much by the way!
went into the desert today and took some pictures. i am not proud of these at all, and i would REALLY enjoy some CC on these pictures, please, and thank you. -snips-
I really, really like the first two. I'm a huge sucker for desert pictures, though. The third seems to lack a focus and leans too much on the post proc/faded colors look. The fourth one is very much just "this is a picture of a spider.", so, not terribly interesting.
-snip- Too much vignette? Just trying out some different looks. Her mom seemed to really want that badass look. She kept telling her not to smile. Also, I tried to add a subtle spartan logo in the glasses. Too much?
A bit too much vignette, yes. Also I don't really like the logo in her glasses, I didn't see it until I read your mention of it and when I did find it it looked odd to me.
Like this? thank you very much by the way!
Fantastic. Except for the ISO noise, I think this picture would've benefited a bit from the softness of a slightly long exposure, that might be what you did, I dunno, those clouds look a bit odd to me. In any event, the picture looks good.
thanks mate! but the ISO was at 100 and the exposure was 15"?
thanks mate! but the ISO was at 100 and the exposure was 15"?
hrm, then do you have any idea why the clouds have that really colored noise look?
hrm, then do you have any idea why the clouds have that really colored noise look?
Looks to me like it's the yellows from the Sunlight withdrawing, being dragged with the long exposure clouds. So what would of been highlight DETAIL on a lower exposure is now slight graininess with long exposure.
I think this is the only notable one, I think it would be much more pleasing if the dude wasn't in the shot and it was just the girl. Him being slightly out of frame really throws it off.

would anyone mind ccing mine c:

First picture is pretty nice, although I feel like it should have a calming feeling about it, but something about the composition and the unbalanced trees (is the picture tilted? I can't quite tell.), makes me feel uneasy about it.

If you look in the distance, you can see the flat ground.
Such beautiful phatos on this page, well done

thought i'd throw some more of my photos from cornwall into the fray: Thoughts? i'm particularly proud of that panorama, think i got some really nice colours
Really strong greens and blues. And that sunset is just magnificent.

You could do with less vingetting though, it'd emphasize how big the fields are.
I always threaten to rape them, usually clears the tension.
Photoshoots are always so awkward, I like to just say really mean things in a somewhat joking way and apparently that makes people laugh so I go with it.
went to go fuck around in the desert again today. took a lot of pics, was really only happy with two.

In hindsight, maybe I should have resized. I'm new here.
Yeah I can't even see what that is. Always resize
[t]http://puu.sh/QE89[/t] Size seems fine to me.[/joke] Maybe you should have resized it? MAYBE?! [t] tag it at least dude.
Holy shit.
