Try different angles. Those seem like they were all shot straight ahead.
I wouldn't say straight ahead in this case... just more shooting from the face. Get around man! Lie down in the mud or jump off a building if you can get some cool angles out of it.

I shall do just that,

These are all great. The magnifying glass one is great, and I love the gifs. Would quote but I'm on my phone.
I like 'em.
I really like the "style" of those .gifs
music video style shit
You go to post something and then the thread is hijacked by some awesome pictures! Typical. Great gifs Dvorak!

Nothing mind blowing, but any critique on composition would be helpful.

Since you asked so nicely. The first one isn't displaying anything for me, the depth is obviously what you were aiming to capture but i feel you would have needed a wider lens to actually make it your subject. Flip it horizontal and throw a human subject in there and you have a different story though.
The second would look a lot better landscape i think, not feeling it in portrait. Keep shooting, as always.

Thank you very kindly sir, I mirror your thoughts on the first one - my friend has been suffering from the dreaded pregnancy and has thus been unavailable. Must shoot there again.
Not really happy with any of my pictures I'm getting on my Washington, D.C. vacation :(
I feel like I'm really lacking when it comes to angles and creativity. Mostly because the shots I want are forced to be taken from far away, and also trying to work around all of the view obstructions. I've mostly been using the wide angle and telephoto. I have a Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 from like the 80's, but it's Manual focus and the camera seems to over-estimate when the image is actually in focus.
Also, does this look like filter-rape? I feel like it might. I have one day left to go get photo redemption before I head back to FL.
Feedback / tips much obliged.

Thanks FP!

Are you using Topaz Adjust?

Nik Software ColorEfex 4. I didn't have Viveza on my laptop at the time, which is my weapon of choice. I think I might have gone overboard on a few though. I can always re-edit though.

I feel like this one is too dull on the colors. Maybe if you deepen the shadows a little and give the colors just a TAD more saturation of some sort. Of course this is one opinion.

I'm not very good at doing photo manipulations, but I felt like trying my hand at it for a band shoot I did.

My hometown.
I was standing atop of a huge tower made of steel and every o so little wind would make it bounce back and forth, I really expected more from that evening :(
