Panorama is great, Streetcarshot is boring and "comes by the thousands" since it could also be shot while standing next to the car and doesn't really have a subject.

I just made a really embarrassing discovery. The calibrations I had set my screen to were completely off, so now I look like a complete tool. I took my shots to the Macs at college and saw the imperfections from my first shot so easily. :suicide: :suicide: :suicide:

These calibrator devices(forgot the name) are fucking expensive though.

That they are. I just recalibrated my screen from Windows' little setup. So much more accurate now.

Feel like im getting more confident shoving a camera in peoples faces.

Picked up a 50mm Prime today and have fallen in love with it.

The confidence is good on you, I definitely am too cowardly to take pictures like those.
Some of the pictures are tilted, I doesn't suit the style. You cut of several of your subjects by the ankles or feet, which is kind of undesirable (I think).

You're definitely improving. The second picture is almost awesome, if only the subject didn't blend in so much with the store in the background.

Try not putting your subjects slightly off centre. Make sure if you want your lines straight, you need to make them straight. Also be considerate towards others, I'm sure you wouldn't like a camera being shoved in your face for a brief moment just for a photo. It's not very ethical, rather ask them if you could take a picture of them, if they say no, then it's no. But if you really want to be sneaky about it, go and look for probably one of the most influential people in photography, Henri-Cartier Bresson as well as hyperfocal distance.

On a positive note, like GuruLongie said, you are improving. It's nice to see people taking the advice of others. Keep it up :)

for b/w try upping contrast a bit to get more distinct subjects. if you are trying to get grays instead of blacks, go to the exposure compensation tool in photoshop and you can lift it there. lightroom should have something similar.

never used aperture but it might have something similar. you can always go to the curves option, and when it is all the lines together lift the bottom left dot up a bit and it should have a similar effect

There was this heat sensing camera we wanted to get past so we made that suit to see if it worked and it did. We do some stupid stuff in our flat. There wasn't really any benefit to getting past it, well except now we know we can :p

I kinda liked this shot today, its from one of the little yards we have at school.

Although the first one could have been a lot better, the bird was all pissed off at me, and wouldn't get out of my face. So, I feel like it captures somewhat of the essence of that.
