i shoot jpg because with an EVF you can check what your picture is going to look like right there and then, and if i want to make adjustments to WB i do it in camera. and i got pretty good at using the color balance sliders in CS5 to make images how i want anyways, i've never edited a raw picture.

100-man Dragon

I wasn't allowed to get close but even when I did, a dragon would come out of nowhere and head-butt me.

Are you able to adjust the output of your light (assuming shutter speed is limited by flash sync)? Stopping all the way down to f/22 can actually degrade the sharpness. Generally lenses will have a sweet spot around f/9 or 11. Also I think you've composed in a way that doesn't give enough room to the subject on the left edge of the frame. Nice work finding a naked woman, by the way.

Yah the monolight is adjustable but it was so close that it was turned almost all the way down, and yes, as you guessed, anything faster than ~1/125 I start getting sync issues.
It was sort of a ghetto setup in my bedroom with a bedsheet backdrop and limited space, but Id like to try to get a similar, better shot at some point.

Since the backdrop is black I could give it some negative space on the left pretty easily. I could probably bring the right side in a little bit to maintain the aspect ratio.
