They are only 1280 on the longest side. That's small by today's standards. If people were worried about data usage they wouldn't visit a Photography thread devoted to posting lots of pictures, surely?

I wish I had a macro lens.

Easy to do, get a 50mm prime lens, and then a set of extension tubes. Works great, that's what I used in those pictures up there.

Yeah its a problem for me on a laptop as well I only see 2/3rds if that of the picture

You have dust on your sensor. Probably wanna take it to a professional to have them removed, especially considering the camera.

Pretty good lightning shot, love how sharp and clean the lightning itself is, and the super dark clouds and bright grass make for a nice mood.

Hey guys, I've been away for a while (again). Been without the internet for a week or so - went to a festival for 3 days and ended up being away for a week because I kept hitching around. Anyway, just wanted to say that there's been some bloody good content here recently. Really proud of you all. I can see massive improvement in a lot of you guys. Good stuff. Anyway, here's a sneak preview of a few shots from the festival. Plenty more to come - (also shot a few rolls of film there that I'm waiting to get back - will post them here as well when I'm done) so watch this space. I still reckon I've got my content down, just need a lot more work on the editing side of things.
