haven't visited this thread in ages. i love what i'm seeing though.
here's an old one i overlooked, probably because i didn't like the lamp shade obstructing the frame. i would've taken a better shot but i only had a small round door window to peer in through.
You have so much more information with RAWs, especially when it comes to editing the white balance.
Yeah but I do a lot of white balance editing now and have been able to extract a ton of information. I'll show you a comparison of before after sometime
A while back I was set a project in college to do something relating to doors, all on film. Time rolled over and I forgot about my prints, but today I found them. Looking though them all, I saw one I liked, so I thought I'd share it

It's a old guitar shop, I thought it looked pretty neat.
Climbed for three hours only to realize I forgot my camera. Here are some stitched phone shots.

I hate being amateur.
i really have trouble focusing on stars because my kit lens is an electronic one so the infinity focus sucks :(

A few from when I was camping, didn't get that many since I was mainly camping to disconnect from the world. I'll probably be heading back with photography in mind, sometimes, maybe with the new photography society I'm starting.

The video doesn't quite show how windy and intense the rain was.
Two more from the festival - back from Amsterdam now. More to come soon.

That is amazing, mind if I ask what lens you used? It looks almost like a tilt shift, imo.

Haven't been photoshooting for a long time now. But due to some circumstances I need to start again. I shot this with a very old Nikon D40x.
Here's some of my old photos from when I started photography.
I've recently been playing around with HDR and Tone mapping, it should be fun to take some more photos, since it has been a while.

Dude. Thumbs.
Also I see a lot of grain in the tiny portions I can actually view on my screen.

I would have liked it much more without the vignette, it's already an island in the middle of water, the vignette is an additional accent that provides nothing new to the image if you ask me.
As good as the shot istself is, your PP kinda destroys it for me. I want to look at the awesome subjects, not your effects. It's borderline filterrape. (IMO)

I think you need to read up on lens blur. Your PP is off. The knuckle bones being blurred while the finger and hair on the back of your hand are in focus is just not possible.
Also if the finger is straight up, the top of it should be just in focus too unless you are using a very very very bad lens.
