i guess the blur could almost work with a tilt shift lens if the plane in focus cuts through the hand and finger

The picture itself is pretty strong, with the face being behind and all, that's pretty cool and well done, just the weird blur.
a photography store in a local mall here is going out of business and they're selling all their stuff at a pretty decent discount.
they had a canon 70-200mm 2.8L IS USM II on sale for $1400...too bad I'm broke.

Upright player piano my dad bought for $1 on craigslist (though he gave the guy $5 for helping him move it). Was in less-than-perfect condition but my dad figured he could make something cool with its parts. I believe it's about 90 years old, I had to get some pictures before it was gutted.

I actually like that a lot, gives the mountains more contrast
So a donor/sponsor commissioned a pond/water feature to be built in front of the Union Center of my campus over summer vacation, and I have been itching to continue testing my home made ND filter so it was a pleasant surprise to see this just pop out of nowhere when I got back to school.
No filter used, just stopped down the aperture to f/32 with a .3 second exposure.

This reminds me a lot like Ansel Addams, this (in my opinion) is easily your best shot. The contrast on the mountain range is really amazing.
Everyone on this thread are amazing photographers, I love the work that comes here.

I'm still alive
A note about the foliage in front of me. They're p much dead plants that belonged to my grandmother. We're taking care of her house so it doesn't become run down seeing as it's been payed off and it's worth a lot. I didn't really have the heart to rip up the dead plants because my grandmother had put so much work into the garden which is now dieing. It might seem silly, but like I said. I couldn't rip them up.

one of my first shots with my a77, this is an HDR (don't kill me plz)
not the best landscape lens i was using, but i did what i could
I gotta try taking one of those HDR pictures, they're so fun to look at
Weird Bokeh in the last, Kabstrac.
Also the composition could be a it more "on subject" (mind that I don't mean "center it"), talking about the cut off legs in two of the pictures particulary.
