I was trying to do a night shot of my hometown a while ago and it kinda failed.[/QUOTE] Kiev is obviously naturally oversaturated because I didn't touch the saturation :P Light leak is caused by an extremely bright neon shop sign on the street below. Weather is good, about 20 Celsius. I think it was 15 seconds at f/6.3 but I might be wrong.

Maybe it's just the unusual yellow valleys of thirst and death inbetween the buildings that makes it look too colourful to me. I'll go again another day... [i]Alone.[/i] I have plenty of patience and can get the shot usually, only this time someone else got too cold and didn't like being there too long.

i hate it when that happens, taking people out on photo trips who are impatient. Happens a lot during night shoots too when long exposures come into play

Nice shot, digging the oranges through the blinds. Quick question, do you snap your friends candidly or do you ask them to pose?

That one was really candid, though sometimes the people I hang out with though kinda pose themselves when the camera comes out. That was at ISO 6400 at 1/4 second in an extremely dark room (most of the light is from street lamps outside), so the shot is complete luck.

I really like the noise.

Is there some aberation going on with the light reflection at the sofa? So that's how it looks to me and why.
