Took some photos at a concert (my dads friends play in a band). First time I used my camera.
Picture is unedited.

Halloween was pretty fun.[/QUOTE]
I think perhaps you are using just a tad bit too much exposure offset in these pictures. Like someone said it gives it that "filter"
I kind of went through this stage and over used it in some instances.

I love the lighting and the concept, but it just looks so posed.
My best shot from last night's game. We won 40-0..

I had no intentions to do it otherwise. I posed him in a way that would lead the eyes to his hands and his eyes which I think leads to a more interesting composition. Whether or not it is natural is not of interest as long as the message is conveyed properly, as per my inspiration Gregory Crewdson. That man is a creative genius.
Finally took a photo that I've thought about, I'm really not sure about it:

Fireworks are hard. It was windy and we were really close to the fireworks (as it was a smaller private display). I had fun anyway though despite my hands getting frozen solid. :v:

I feel it needs a slightly lower angle to get some more contrast with the person standing there (you?). The same shot on a slightly foggy night probably look much better overall.
few more oldies

I love how the light actually works with the subject and the theme of the photo.
It is very much like it would be at an evening game on a lit stadium. Great job!

fucking fantastic., I love the lack of background but the second one makes me feel as though some more lights in the background could look really dramatic
great shots, great processing IMO

Thanks so much, we were working with limited lights at the time as the 2nd year students were busy with shoots in the other studios, so I planned to use 3 lights initially, and so I used one for the top light, a light on the left as you can see from the flare, and another light from behind with a snoot on it.
Opinions on your favourite one?

Most American Skyscrapers do to be honest, this one was edited though.
Anyway, I just want an opinion on the best edit please :)
Well, honestly, the first one isn't great but it's the best of them all. Looks too fake to be believable, sorry.
