Love the first one, but tone down the editing please! In my opinion it's just over the border of clip/offset abuse.
Trying to get a better grasp at colours:

This one is especially valuable to me.
Everyone who's been to the Mammoth Springs probably knows that the media image is false. Most of the springs lost their colours and life, they got too cold and old and seismic activities and newly built artificial springs just south of Yellowstone destroyed a LOT of the wonders you'd find in the park.
So the springs are dead and we were massively dissappointed.
And then we walked.
We took a walk into the woods behind the main mammoth springs and that's what greeted us in the middle of them:

The thing is, most people won't see it that way. It really is in the middle of the woods and the signs pointing to it ar withered or not existing anymore, I thik it's part of the rangers strategy to make less people do stupid stuf with it. I have to admit I had to walk off the (already almost vanished) path to get to this position but I was REALLY careful not to step on anything and got aways as quick as possible.
So in summary: We saw the srings "alive"

I just got my cam back then, excuse the bad perspective/no panorama and so on :(
Got some rolls back, here's a quick sample:

The less saturated looks a little surreal to me, maybe that's a good thing for that photo.

More saturated is much better. Remove the door and the balloon and you have a good photo.
This past Monday I did a testing of a prime 50mm I'm borrowing from my old teacher
I used a t2i for this thing. I love how it turned out, and I'm asking you guys and gals what
you guys think about it
Love it or Hate it
I'll still love you

I have to say I disagree, the photo is good as it is, it's not your typical landscape shot and, while seemingly pointless, the content (the door and the balloon) serve to create a unique feeling of surreal (especially when compared to most of the stuff that comes from this forum)
Sure he's photoshopped it but isn't that in itself being creative with photography? I have a lot respect for people that actually choose to experiment with scenes beyond your typical color adjustments
I love the atypical shit and tbh the less saturated one (especially the tones of the colours) just feels all kinds of right to me.
that's just like, my opinion though

this man stood in the secc walkway. he asked us to take a photo of him, and we complied. from our brief conversation we found he's got a life, a tough one. he's got a family somewhere. he talks with a stutter and he's not got a lot of money, sometimes he plays banjo in the haunting corridor of the secc.
