Ok, so next wednesday (12-12-12) my parents are getting married and they wanted me to shoot it. Nothing very serious, just the closest family and friends, but of course i want to make the best of it. I haven't done very much portrating or shooting people what so ever so i thought i might ask you guys for some tips. Would love some ideas for poses, framing etc. Mostly gonna use a 50 1.8, but I've also have an 18-55 3.5-5.6 and 50-250 4-5.6. I just bought a reflector which i was thinking about experimenting a bit with. So, yeah, any ideas, things to think about, tips to make the modells relax, smile less strained and just look more natural would be extremely appreciated!

[editline]6th December 2012[/editline] The dress, Im not too sure. She's a friend of mine I met in uni, and she's really into the lolita fashion scene. I'm not too clued up/interested in it myself tbh, but she's great to photograph and good fun so I always do it anyway. As far as I know she's quite big on tumblr and the like, and an active member in the UK lolita scene... so it gets me some nice publicity. One image got reblogged on tumblr like 600 times. Anyway, she's got quite the collection of costumes. She gets them all online, and they're pretty expensive. She made the cloak herself though, which i thought was awesome! It's all hand stitched on both sides. The shots below shows it off quite well. She's got a few more costumes she'd like photographed so we're gonna go do some more shoots soon. The light at this time of year in Scotland is stunning too because we're so northern, it's like a perpetual sunset. I'll definitely post the results in here. Cloak shots.
