star points == number of aperture blades. (the smaller your aperture the more dramatic the effect becomes).
That's actually quite an interesting fact. I was always curious how that effect appeared on some lenses and always thought it might be due to some odd superimposition of light waveforms or something. I guess it kinda makes sense, seeing that it's essentially the same as a star filter, just in a less deliberate way.
star points == number of aperture blades. (the smaller your aperture the more dramatic the effect becomes).
except i think if the aperture has an odd number of blades, in which case the number of points is 2x the number of blades

I had to think of "No Country For Old Men" for some reason, I think it's because of the landscape.
I like the Antwon video haha What on earth is that camera she is holding?
Mamiya Universal Press She has an instant and a 6x7 back for it, you can get 6x9's for em too. Although it's a 120 camera, it fills the whole frame on 3.25" x 4.25" peel-apart instant film, gets close to a 4x5 FOV.
it's so massive and it's left handed, boggles my mind. i'm not at all versed with medium format tech :(
how do people afford that? jesus.
save money/work/university loan
I want a job. Doing photo gigs every now and then for >$25 an hour destroys my demeaner

I just replaced my tripod that's been broken with one that should last me a good long time and I was excited to get out and use it. I'm really liking your post-processing style. Very provoking colors. I'm trying to get a bit more into color photography, but with my three semesters of classes in B/W I tend to compose strictly based on values and it's a challenge to start seeing differently, as well as post-process for it.

right, set time this is kind of an odd one- i've managed to really fuck up my sleep schedule (i basically wake up after the sun sets, and can't get to sleep until it rises again, so i spend the whole day in darkness) and been in a really weird of state of mind for the last couple of weeks, so, on one hand i rather like how these have turned out, but on the other, they really don't give off a good vibe to me, they basically just feel like the rest of this november/december has on the bright side, i've decided that i fucking love fuji neopan, and also the way my olympus 50mm blurs out lights (pretty sure this is because the previous owner had it chemically cleaned due to fungus) [editline]14th December 2012[/editline] brb, exam time
