So I don't know if anyone has seen me around here but I never got that great as some photographers here. But I would produce something ok every once in a while.
I just uploaded stuff to flickr in months from hundreds of photos and so that's why there's so much stuff here, But I would like to get some opinions on some of it if you guys could.

Aesthetics of the cop car one are awesome, I would just crop it in a little bit to emphasize the subjects

i reckon the extreme contrast makes colour pretty redundant - keeps the photos simple which is good for a big set

okay sorry for the interjection I couldn't help myself. I like the photo though, I like that the depth of field helps to bring out the depth in the scene rather than creating a seemingly flat 2 dimensional image, but I feel as though the colouring is slightly awkward on her arm, it could use some touching up
I agree that the pose can be seen as a little awkward but honestly to me it's mostly that suddenly awkward bit of lighting
One of the styles that I post process my images are in black and whites with high contrast. Previous page shots are example of so.

Black and white can add a mood to an image that would be hard or impossible to attain with color. There is definitely a time and place for black and white photography, just as there is for color, you have to approach it with a different mindset. I personally like to shoot in black and white during winter.
