In the next picture show his abs more
But it's a sick shot, colors are great and it has a nice feel to it. Focus is slightly off but whatever it works still. I dig it certainly
I don't really like replying to crit, but there's a few things worth noting:
a) This is not me
b) Those shorts iirc have a 9-10" inseam, I personally wear 5" inseam shorts and am significantly taller so suss that if you want to see shorts that are too short.
c) It's cider
d) He is Vice BO$$ of Boats at school and competitively cycles, chance of a beer belly = unlikely.

The shot took about 3 minutes to set up and take, while fast it was methodical and certainly not candid. I am glad that it still retained enough personality to convince you that it actually was candid.
Well ok this sets us up for being much more friendly towards point-and-shoot looking pictures. After all there could always be a 10 minute setup behind them.

Yay my photo made it to explore for the first time today!
So I got myself a Sigma 2.0x Teleconverter, and decided to try it out on a Sigma 70mm macro lens.
i cannot stand the square-format of instagram; i feel so claustrophobic.
I'm really enjoying it - purely for the constraints it put upon me.
I was always weirded out using tlr cameras and their square formats in the past, but I'm pretty sure now, that because of instagram, I'd be confident using the 6x6 format today.
[editline]12th January 2013[/editline]
Oh, and the more I look at it, the more I'm liking instagram's online gallery. If anyone feels like browsing my 629 photos, it should give you a pretty good idea of what my year (at least since March 2012) has been like.

who knows, it may grow on me. however, as of now, i feel constrained when i see it/use it.
also, guys, rate my attempt of trying to make a digital image looks like a really lo-fi film image.

edit: probably not a super good idea that i saved it as a jpg.
It's also a bad choice for a picture. At first I thought you captured some stars and tilted you cam or something.
if you edited it a bit so the salt and pepper grain is only in the sky it'll look v cool
