I'm thinking of using cargo collective, but I feel like it's more for artistic types of photography rather than what I mostly shoot. (Judging from cargo ports I've seen)

I'm not letting ANYTHING happen to my baby. That said, I do crazy shit with, for instance, my Minolta, because I got it for 20 bucks at goodwill, and it still takes very nice shots. Or some of film point and shoots I have, like my Lomo LC-A or my Canon Sure Shot.

And ofcourse it's not weathersealed. The 17-40L lens is weathersealed though. And the second combination is the Nikon D3X (weathersealed) with a Nikkor 135mm f/2 (not weathersealed). Both perfectly survived being fully exposed in the snow for multiple hours.

I think DigitalRev proved just how durable Canon DSLRs are. And I would presume Nikon are just as durable.
