Have you never heard of the bopiefier filter in photoshop?
if only there were such a thing.
Have you never heard of the bopiefier filter in photoshop?
It's alright, a bit pricey but you can find cracked versions. The real problem is that it's not as good as having an analog one though. The natural variability of analog circuitry is an added benefit to analog bopifiers as long as you are content with the idea that things will never look exactly the same twice. Here you can see a Susman mark iv flagship bopifier in the field. Analog bopification is based on altering an electrical voltage signal. In the early days of bopifiers many different modules affected the signal in any number of orders. The Ottoman mark ii was the first hardwired non modular bopifier that established a pattern that would become the standard pathway of the signal. First the signal travels through the Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO). The VCO determines the oscillation frequency and is controlled by altering the DC voltage input. Next is the Voltage Controlled Filter (VCF). The VCF alters the cutoff level of the blacks via low-pass, high-pass, bandpass, or notch filter. This adds or removes overtones in the originally oscillated signal. The final basic component is the Voltage Controlled Amplifier (VCA). The VCA controlled by a control voltage (CV) determines the strength of the outputted signal. Many other components including Low Frequency Oscillators (LFO), Envelope Generators, Ring Modulators, Frequency Modulators (FM), and other effectors can be added to further alter the basic signal. The analog components create a very accurate and exact grain due to the pure voltage control. This is what leads to the power of analog tone and warmth in color and dynamic range.
Or you can use the trogonomic filter which involves shooting Sony cameras on jpg and over sharpening them
For those of you shooting digital, how do you get your pictures to look so good color wise? Is it mostly post, or are you using specific picture styles in the camera? Or both? I'm no stranger to color correction and grading when it comes to video, but is that what a lot of you are doing as well?
For video, I shoot with a flat profile and bring out the colors in post. Photos, pretty much anything can be done to them. I use Lightroom and adjust settings to my liking
You literally just described how an analog synthesiser functions.
eh, i think he said bopifier? god some people.
Shooting slightly underexposed and bring it out later in post is also a pretty good way.

They all died horrible deaths but it's said the pictures of their agony looked tearjerkingly beautiful right before they all burned to ashes.
killuah are you german or something?
That is correct.
ordered my bopifier tonight! should get it in the next few days! :D excited.

Spent over an hour trying to edit this photo on my shitter than shit laptop. Opened it up on my iPad and all the colors were oversaturated and weird, gave up with this after that. I've got some very promising timelapse material as well. I'll just re-edit everything when I go to uni on monday.
That's really nice

The only thing I have to say about them is I'd rather see brighter highlights and lights. The black and white photo would be great for that kind of high contrast, but that's just my taste. On my side the seem a tiny bit too dark.
