Maybe something like this. Feels calmer.
I like the start/stop feel of the first one he posted. I think he nailed it with that.
This is killing my browser btw.

In other news; I got last-paged two days ago and would like some CC on the following images.

if you'd crouched down lower on the last one it would have been a lot better with the composition
yeah jaanus the stopping and starting one is the coolest
What Salmon said, and if you're talking about self portraits, I think it affords an easy way to get comfortable with shooting the human figure when, and wherever one wants before they've developed any skills.
to be clear (and late) that isn't me.
I feel like I am putting out the same quality content as always, yet people like it much less nowadays.

but do you like it?
but do you like it?
I do, I suppose. I guess it is all just opinions, but I feel like my opinion is much different then most. Does it work the other way around, where I think a photo of mine sucks, while everyone loves it? Should I post my least favorite shots? That just sounds like a bad idea.

I think the first one would've been better if you had cropped it somewhat lower; so no shoreline was visible and you'd shown more of the guy. Think you nailed the lower one (and the post-processing on both).

i agree, these are sick.

Awesome pic and know it's "one of those moments" so my critique is:
if it was a setup, I think the framing could be either tighter since the ramp to the left is cut anyway, or wider so the ramp to the left is completer.
It's an awesome pic anyway.

Ace focus though.

Curious about the background here. How?
I'm still full of childish amazement when I use the image merge of photoshop, 7 pictures:

Now I just gotta learn to shoot enough pictures...
