A question that has been asked since ancient times. What do you get when you cross a 5D mk ii with a 100mm Macro lens and add melting snow Answer: A nightmare trying to get it in focus and catch the droplet falling
[t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/6643010/IMG_1712.jpg[/t]
Is this a panoramic or a single image?
Use a really small aperture.
Surely a faster shutter speed as its camera shaky that is blurring the picture not too shallow DoF
As for my NYC picture, I did some manual touch up in Lightroom. I have CS 6, but I don't know how much it'll help. As for the shutter speed/aperture, I was using a high aperture so I could get the city, but since it was on aperture priority it automatically set shutter speed to 1/60 and I was in a car on the way home. Wasn't the best mix :c And as for it being a panoram, or a single image. It's 1 image.
Surely a faster shutter speed as its camera shaky that is blurring the picture not too shallow DoF
Look at the bokeh on the buildings
Look at the bokeh on the buildings
Thats not bokeh thats camera shake, all the building windows are streaking in short lines, if it wasnt focused properly they would be circular blurs
Thats not bokeh thats camera shake, all the building windows are streaking in short lines, if it wasnt focused properly they would be circular blurs
it's a mix of both tbh

Just smoking a pipe while playing pingpong don't mind me or the burning tobacco and ashes flying around
here's an old one that i always kind of liked but never uploaded. i chose a different one over it, but looking at them again i feel this one has more character. haven't taken many pictures recently (besides instagram stuff), just haven't had opportunities where i would want to :/

The first two are pretty interesting in composition, the third and fourth not quite as much. though i do like the third.
I need to get out of my damn house to shoot but my parents won't let me...
I don't know your situation, but that sounds like an excuse. First it's your parents don't let you out then you don't have a car then you don't live in an interesting enough area then you don't have the right gear then you don't have the connections It goes on. The point is that if you tackle these excuses and find solutions to them, you move on to the next level instead of just sitting around not doing anything about it because something 'won't let you'. No one has the answer for you, you have to find the solution for yourself and your situation. It's part of growing in your craft. If you don't have it in you to make it work out, then it's not for you - but you can change that, its not some set-in-stone 'have it or not' its just a matter of finding the will to go on and really wanting it. Might be a little harsh but I think that's the best advice I can give you.
