1) I have no experience with cameras, and film at start may not be the best choice.
2) It's broken, film won't advance
3) I haven't a clue where I could get decent film scans in 2012

I don't know about the film processing available where you are, but where I live, although it's uncommon, it is still readily available.
Not many places develop film anymore, but I know that once it's developed, there's a larger number of places that can scan and print the negatives.

Town is recovering from a recent flood so I haven't had a chance to get out and take some photos. You guys are awesome though, still read the thread every day :)

Bought myself a 550D, went out shooting around the nearby bushland and streets of suburban Sydney the other day. Pretty new to this, so I'd appreciate some advice on what/what not to do :v: Most of these shots are pictures of plants since that's pretty much all there is around here. Plus, right now I don't really "get" composition, but it should come to me in time.
