how did it happen?
I laid it on my table in college for exactly 1minute, I had an extremely urgent call, I came back to see the body lying on a chair without the lens.
who the heck would go for the lens and not the body
I think its disgraceful that someone would steal that at a college, however the only thing i can say is that i think you learnt a valuable lesson and will know in future not to trust anyone you don't know with your kit/leave it out of your sight.
someone at my high school left a lens sitting around the photo room for a few hours one time
i was surprised it wasn't stolen
Felt like a prank at first but I searched the whole fucking perimeter and nobody saw shit, sucks balls.
who the heck would go for the lens and not the body
Someone cruel and twisted.

Partly because it will leave everyone thinking about why oh why it wasn't the body. There must be a reason but why.
[editline]6th March 2012[/editline]
sorry, too soon i guess.
It baffles me how once or twice in a blue moon my nasty 8MP Kodak will take one amazingly good picture. I did not enhance this at all and yet that bloom, that lighting...

...it's as if the photo itself was taken in heaven.
Kodak is boss. End of story

It looks like a natural backdrop
pretty much was, it was just a hill with snow all the way up it. but i liked putting in the other elements of the picture to show that it was nature. was really cool too before we walked all over it
wait why is my response artistic i'm confused

Brilliant use of negative space, could have benefited if it was taken with a longer focal length to the whole thing to look like one big vertical backdrop.

I wish my snow could go away so I could do some forest photography.
I wish I had room to carry my school stuff AND my camera.
I wish I had room to carry my school stuff AND my camera.
this! oh god this! I have space enough in my bag for most of my school stuff and my camera+one other lens but when i have photography and economics lessons in one day i need my huge ass notebook and my camera so shit is always cramped :(
i use a backpack and yesterday i was carrying
4 days worth of clothes
50mm
135mm
Canon 5DMKII
and a Macbook Pro
oh and my Canon AE-1
you just gotta conserve space
i only have a topman dunlop-branded bag and my notebook fills half of it. I also have 4 different books/briefs for music tech and photography, shit gets full quick!
but blaze, i'll admit.. thats impressive man!

negative space is the space around a subject
