You're subjects are good man, nice and interesting. First one seems a bit bland for me, nice subject and shows off some nice DoF buts thats about it really. Second one has lovely lighting and the polygon surface of the bird gives for some pretty nice shadows. And the last one just seems like a touristy picture to me, could have been done a lot better and made more dramatic. Just my 2 cents.

I was Scrolling through a load of old pictures on my camera and I stumbled across this, I remember walking out in my yard and seeing this little bird that must have fell out of its nest. I actually got quite upset over this and I usually takes allot to upset me, It was so tiny. It goes to show that even the smallest of event's in this world can still have an emotional Impact and that Life can be Cruel. (P.S. I buried it in my garden With a little stone for a tombstone.. Too far?)
i'm not going to lie, i still have no idea what negative space is and this is the second time you've said i used it well haha :p
Contrary to what Sanius said, negative space is either completely white or completely black space (depending on what the subject is/how it is lit) that creates a nice sort of unused bit of the frame which adds to the aesthetic quality. So for example. the negative space in yours is the snow as it is near pure white and creates both a nice backdrop for the subject to contrast against and also highlights the top and bottom of the frame, which are both good areas.
negative space absolutely does not need to be either white or black
Elements of an image that distract from the intended subject, or in the case of photography, objects in the same focal plane, are not considered negative space. Negative space can be used to depict a subject in a chosen medium by showing everything around the subject but not the subject itself. Usage of negative space will produce a silhouette of the subject. Most often, though, negative space is used as a neutral or contrasting background to draw attention to the main subject which is then referred to as the positive space.
That last one is lovely, stick at it, film photography is extremely rewarding :)
I think the composition is excellent and the subjects interesting, but the film effect is way overdone.
I was trying to to get a general idea of what my photo's will look like when i get them developed i shot them with a high grain film on my tlr but also with my digital because i didn't have a lightmeter on me at the time and i get readings off the digital camera
Thanks :) And I know, although its so pricey and fairly difficult to me. :(

The scratches seem so... intended.
Are you doing the processing yourself in a lab or do you deliver them somewhere? The scratches seem so... intended.
I went out to the mall and let some store do the processing for me. And I think the "scratches" are pieces of dust. Unless you're talking about something else and I'm blind. >: But it's probably because my scanner is really dusty. If you see the images in person, its a lot smoother.

Not a biggie, just makes the picture look older than it is.
