Thanks! Ive been trying to get more into food photography and working on lighting and stuff, but i dont want just a plain white bright background like a lot of people do

You got the angle spot-on and white backgrounds for food pictures are terrible unless you can make out it's a cloth on a table or something like that

Funny story: This guy I know who had to do pictures for a "gourmet" ice cream company had to buy cheaper, shittier ice cream from another company for the photoshoot since the gourmet stuff melted too fast under the lights/flashes.

Got Work experience with a local newspaper (burton mail if anyone is interested) told him I was interested in urbex, turns out he was aswell. He drove me to an abandoned street of shops that was in the process of being demolished for redevelopment. I got a guided tour from the builders aswell. Great day :D

I like how you've captured the snow, though I think your composition is a bit odd. I haven't seen alternative composition, so maybe this was the best solution. Nice photograph though.

Thanks :) It's really tough to call, it was a very long process. One tip I can give was I used a softer copy of the layer in photoshop blended in over the top to create those mildly dreamy skin tones. The rest was just fine tuning the colour rendition and adding Lightroom grain. If it helps, these were the reference photos I was using, which were taken by the guy in the photo.
