No way that's SOOC
Slightly saturated, but those are the colours that were there.
Slightly saturated, but those are the colours that were there.
I get sky like that too. The first time I saw it go like that I was like. "What the fuck. Did I eat something dodgy or is the world ending?"
Mate, looking back at this, if it's your house, this view could make for a really interesting series.
Thanks, but I'd rather not recycle the same idea. I've taken this sort of shot a bunch, this one turned out the best and I'm content with that :)
Mate, looking back at this, if it's your house, this view could make for a really interesting series.
Depending on the amount of activity in that room and the orientation of the window, this could make for a very interesting timelapse.
Me and my buddies went to a nearby lake where we chill in the summer. Damn it was pretty there, glad I brought my camera.
No way that's SOOC
Sorry to the fellow CP thread if it offends them But dude, you are like the dumbest person I've ever seen in this thread. Do you have autism? Really mate, just chill and give proper CC instead of shit like this. Really.
Autism jab was a little rude, but I agree with your message.
These sorts of colours only come out around my place a handful of times each year, I was so glad to be able to capture it.
You mention color, and I'm colorblind as well as possibly just oblivious, what's unusual about the sky?
Those are great Quasty, Ilford FP4? [editline]25th March 2012[/editline] Wait, what? Are you related to Edwin Quast/Pickwickian?
Thanks, yeah a couple of them are Ilford FP4 but I think most there are from the Kodak 400 I was using. Yeah Pickwickian is my brother.

I work full time so pretty limited

I have said it before, but as a child I used to watch pickwickian's dad most afternoons on play school :v:
I feel like this would look pretty great with less contrast... considerably less contrast.
Thanks, I'm not sure how to fix the blown up lights from a long exposure shots, the stoplights look... Ugh..
I watched him in a film the other week running around as Saddam Hussein with a machine gun shooting up shit
Autism jab was a little rude, but I agree with your message.
Yeah I agree, forgive me, but I tried to keep all rudeness down. If I have anything to blame it on then it's the fact that a young kid I was acquainted with shot himself last week so I'm a bit easily aggravated.
What is wrong with my autofocus argh Yoss outside by Latin Geek, on Flickr
I don't see anything wrong with your autofocus. Looks more like motion blur to me.
What is wrong with my autofocus argh Yoss outside by Latin Geek, on Flickr
It doesn't look like an auto-focus issue, but more or less motion blur. (As stated above) From the looks of it the shutter speed was 1/10 which is too slow (At least for me) to take photos of animals. Remember that your Shutter speed should match your focal length, if not a little higher. So at 55mm your shutter speed should be 1/60. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong, because I do not know if this applies for the true focal length on a crop sensor) Also, try shooting at f8.0, it seems to be the sweet spot for sharpness on the Canon's 18-55mm kit lens, so it may apply the same to the Nikon's. Curiosity Did Not Kill The Cat by Bredirish123, on Flickr For example, with this photo I used a shutterspeed of 1/350 and an aperture of f8.0, with a focal length of 208mm. Everything came in nice and sharp without any motion blur because that shutter speed was much higher than the focal length. This was also partly due to the extremely bright sunlight; but you get the idea.
