I took some pictures of a campfire over summer and blended them in. I've been doing this a lot lately, haha.

Freaking amazing sot. Just curious as to why you don't link it to your flickr at all? Or show the exif data? Just curious.

Cheers.
It's not public on my flickr, so nothing to link to. The exif is stripped because of my flickr settings. It's either from not letting people have access to the fullsize image, or having downloads disabled - not really sure haven't looked at it in a while. That shot was 5d2+ 85l @ 1.2, btw. (9 shots stitched)

It's like the most amazing looking shot I have ever seen.
Almost surreal

with the all rights reserved options i think they can only download at max the "large" size, and it still allows for exif to show up. that's what mine is at right now, and that's all that appears when i go to the sizes menu

What do you guys think of the colors on my recents B+W shots? Including these:

The hand one is a tad strange, the DOF just makes it feel "fake"
Personally the best photo manipulation is when there are subtle changes. A slight abnormality but yet so normal.
Which I think you nailed in the third
The first image has really nice texture to it. Nitpicking here, but I would have liked it more had the drawers been fully in frame as well as the top door part.

Thanks! I agree about the DOF being weird. I thought it would make it somewhat more interesting but it kind of messed up. I never intended it to be subtle though. I think that's kind of impossible seeing as how there is a hand coming out of a mirror ;D But I do get what you mean though.
It doesn't really blend in great.

INCREDIBLY AWESOME!
the only thing I can criticize is saying that the mirror itself is kinda boring.
Try a shard of glass, maybe? I don't know, they look super sweet right now anyway.
Some shots from a gig I covered a while ago

They look like a pop band. Not a punk band. Strange.
Awesome pic though! Nice capture with great colour.[/QUOTE]
Yeah, the lightning rig was set up for a pop/??? band, they warmed up the crowd. I got photos of the other band as well, but I was too lazy to look through and edit :v:
It's a lot fun taking pictures of bands playing, a lot of challenges! Especially when my camera can only go to 1600 ISO :v:
Here's the set-link to the other band that played, 2nd Class People:

Took this today. I know it's a typical bandpose, and thank god for pockets, but I think it works pretty well.

tonal range on them is great. always keep in mind that good b/w pictures should try and have both absolute blacks and absolute whites in the images (or if not absolute, just a greater tonal range than mostly grays) and you have done that extremely well here.
Nothing special, but posting it anyway. I've never shot sport, but was required to for my photography module this term.
Went to a rugby match, got pretty drunk, said I was going to leave once I got a shot I was happy with.
Got this in 2 minutes. Left.

Pretty happy with the result, as rushed as it was. Whacked the iso up and crouched at the sidelines. Wasn't too hard.
Got 89% in my photography portfolio for the module :D
Happy Pickwickian.
